FLBC goes to Nashville for the Craft Brewer’s Conference

Some of our Flathead Lake Brewing Co. crew recently had the pleasure of attending the Brewers Association’s Craft Beer Conference in Nashville, Tennessee! In year’s past we have sent brewers to attend the conference, but this year we had a couple of our people from our sales and marketing team to attend. It was quite amazing to be included in the 14,000+ attendees, their biggest conference yet!

Independence Matters!

The keynote address by members of the Brewers Association really emphasized the hard work and importance of small craft breweries. It was a great experience to feel so apart of the ever evolving movement of craft beer. We attended a ton of seminars to better help market our beer, plan fun and exciting events, and also work with distributors better to get our product out in the market. We came back to Montana with a wealth of information and we are super excited to put what we have learned into practice!

Our friends at W.M. Sprinkman Corp., the makers of our 30bbl brewing system, hosted a MashBash at Jackalope Brewing and the GEA Group invited us to attend their CBC party, where us and our friends from Lewis & Clark Brewing got to meet Dolly and Willie! (Not really, but they were good stand ins). We were also able to experience a little bit of the nightlife in Nashville. We were blown away by all of the talented musicians that we found throughout the city. In summary, we loved Nashville and we loved the Craft Brewers Conference. Continuing education is always important, and in our opinion, beer education is even better. Cheers!
