Introducing the Lone Walker Ale

LoneWalkerAle_webThis summer we’ve introduced a new beer that we crafted exclusively in honor of Glacier National Park. We wanted to brew a light, easy drinking beer that would act as a refreshing treat to enjoy after a long trek into our beautiful Montana wilderness. So what did we come up with? The Lone Walker Ale, coming in at 4.5% ABV and 23 IBUs.

Our tribute to the majestic National Park was named in honor of Lone Walker Mountain, which is situated immediately southwest of Upper Two Medicine Lake along the Continental Divide. This specialty brew is only available in a few locations. You can grab a pint at Logan’s Bar in the Lake McDonald Lodge, Two Dog Flats at Rising Sun Motor Inn (12 miles after Logan’s Pass on the East side), and the Swiss Lounge in Many Glacier Hotel. We also have the Lone Walker Ale on tap at the Flathead Lake Brewing Co. Pubhouse in Bigfork.

We will also be pouring the Lone Walker – along with another beer we brewed with Glacier in mind, the Centennial IPA – this Saturday, July 18th, 2015 at the 5th Annual Pints for Paths Brewfest at the Heavens Peak Lodge and Resort in West Glacier. The Pints for Paths Brewfest is a fundraiser for the Gateway to Glacier Trail, which is working to build a separated bike and pedestrian path connecting the Flathead Valley to Glacier National Park.
