Chateau Aeneas Barleywine Release

barleywine_promoWe’re excited to announce the next release in our North Shore Project series of barrel-aged beer, Chateau Aeneas Barleywine, on May 20th, 2016 available to the public at 6pm.

The American Barleywine is one of the strongest of ales, and this is no exception! Aged for 14 months in Merlot barrels, this beer has picked up wood, wine, and berry notes in the flavor and aroma. The beer starts out slightly sweet and finishes dry with a moderate hop character. Named for the highest peak in the Jewel Basin where views of the Flathead Valley are well worth the hike.

Best served in a snifter glass. This is the third beer released in our North Shore Project.

The Chateau Aeneas Barleywine will be available in 750ml cork and cage bottles for $16 per bottle with no bottle limit. Draft will be available at the FLBC  Pubhouse only.

Malts: Montana 2-row, Pilsner, Vienna, and Aromatic. Hops: Horizon and Tettnang.
