December’s speaker will be Mike Koopal, Founder, Executive Director of the Whitefish Lake Institute and Chair of the Western Montana Conservation Commission. His talk will be on “How to Manage Crap in the Fastest Growing Micropolitan Area (Hint: it’s Kalispell!) in the U.S.” with an introduction to the Western Montana Conservation Commission. Tickets are $5 a person.
Please note: No food will be available downstairs in the Cellar, please come early and eat upstairs prior to the presentation.
Science on Tap is an informal community gathering to discuss science around the lake, region, world… and sometimes beyond. We invite local scientists and researchers in our community to discuss and present their work and results in ways that are easy to understand and light on data and graphs. This is a fun, family-friendly event in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Bring your curiosity and enjoy yourself!
Brought to you by the Flathead Lakers, Flathead Lake Biological Station, and the FLBC Pubhouse.
